Dear Clients!
Pursuant to paragraph 2.13.d of the Rules of Terms of Business, due to major liquidity issues in the financial market, it has become essential for Alpari to temporarily widen spreads in some currency pairs. The new spreads are available on our Contract Specification webpage.
This is an attempt to replicate the widened spreads that we are currently receiving from our liquidity providers.
We will endeavour to get back to our normal tight spreads as soon as possible.
Also, please note the new definition that has been added for the term «Average market volume» (see Chapter 10 of Terms of Business, as well as the Contract Specification). Any trading over the “Average market value” amount will be quoted on request.
The definitional change referenced above are effective as of October 27, 2008.
