Meeting your requirements Alpari changes the minimum step of the contract size for every instrument from 0.1 to 0.01. Thus, you will be able to open positions of 0.11, 0.12 … volume. Due to this offer you will be able to form your investment portfolio and develop your own trading strategy following requirements of Money Management.
It was also decided to make a lot size on each currency pair equal to 100,000 units of the base currency. Thus one lot on:
— GBPUSD, GBPJPY, GBPCHF will be equal to 100,000 of the base currency, instead of 70,000. Consequently, a pip value of 1 lot contract will be equal to 10 units of the quotation currency, instead of 7.
— AUDUSD, AUDCAD, AUDCHF, AUDNZD, AUDJPY, NZDUSD, NZDJPY will be equal to 100,000 of the base currency, instead of 200,000. Consequently, a pip value of 1 lot contract will be equal to 10 units of the quotation currency, instead of 20.
These changes will touch upon the newly opened positions and the open positions, the volume of which will be converted. E.g. an open position of 1 lot on GBPUSD will become an open position on GBPUSD of 0.7 lot; an open position of 1.0 lot on AUDUSD will become an open position on AUDUSD of 2.0 lot. The other parameters of the open positions will remain unchanged.
These changes will be introduced:
— for Demo and Contest accounts from July 30;
— for Real accounts from August 13.
