What shall I do if MetaTrader 4 shows «Invalid account»?

Possible reasons:

1. You enter an invalid login in MetaTrader.
Login in MetaTrader is always numeric and doesn't include any letters. Login in MetaTrader for alive account of the type alpari.classic - represents five digits (for example: 31242), it is reported on the last page of the account opening and is dublicated in a letter to your email address.
Login in MetaTrader for a live account of the type alpari.micro - represents six digits (for example: 201742), it is reported on the last page of the account openning and is dublicated in a letter to your email address.
Login in MetaTrader for a demo-account - represents six digits (for example: 492032), it is reported in the MetaTrader window after a demo-account is opened and it is dublicated in a letter to your email addres, specified during the registration and to the internal mail in MetaTrader.
Login in MetaTrader for a contest account - represents seven digits (for example: 2005568), it is reported after the registration in the contest in a letter to your email address;

2. You enter an invalid password
A password in MetaTrader consists of not less than five characters of not less than two of three types of representation - lower case, upper-case and digits. All letters must be latin. Case of letters (capital/small letters) is of importance. Perhaps some letter you take for a digit while a digit you may take for a letter. That's why it's better to fill in the field by copying the password from the message received to your E-mail after your account was registered. Password to enter MetaTrader for live accounts of all types is reported on the last page of the account opening and is dublicated in a letter to your email address.
Password to enter MetaTrader for a demo-account is reported in the MetaTrader window after the account is opened and is dublicated in a letter to your email address and to the MetaTrader internal mail.
Password to enter MetaTrader for a contest account is reported on the last page of the registration in the contest and is dublicated in a letter to your email address;

3. Choose a server of other type of accounts.
For live accounts of the type alpari.classic choose from the list of servers the «Alpari-Classic» server, for live accounts of the type alpari.micro choose from the list of servers the «Alpari-Micro» server, for demo-accounts choose the «Alpari-Demo», for contest accounts choose the«Alpari-Contest». If there is no needed server in the list, perhaps you downloaded MetaTrader from other site (the site of MT developer or other Dealing Center). In this case it is necessary to install the latest version of MetaTrader 4 from our website or to type in the IP address of the needed server;

4. There is no such account.
The live accounts not activated within 30 days are deleted.
In order to activate accounts of the type alpari.classic you need to deposit money to your trading account:
— no less than 200 USD (for accounts with the deposit currency in USD);
— no less than 200 EUR (for accounts with the deposit currency in EUR).
