I make a deposit via banking card and I have to enter the CVC2/CVV2 code. What is CVC2/CVV2?

CVC2/CVV2 — Card Verification Code2/Card Verification Value2 — is the 3-digit, non-embossed number printed on the signature panel on the back of the card immediately following the credit card account number. This number is required as an additional security precaution.
